Rules


1.Players Registrations


a.The entry fee for each player will be £10.00 (Non-Refundable) which must be paid upon registration.

Registration must be completed 1 hour before competition start time.

b.No player under the age of 16 years may register to play.


2.Playing Area.


a.The board must be set up to P.D.O playing standard.

b.The Oche to be permanently shown with no limits to its length.

c.The scoreboard should be on the same wall as the dartboard, no more than 2 feet away and should

be clearly visible to the players.


3.The Match.


a.Draw will take place once all registrations have been received and will be displayed for all to see.

Start of play shall be decided by both players throwing for the bullseye. Person named first on the fixture to throw first.

All games are ‘straight in’ and ‘double out’. 50 to count as double 25.

In the event of the game being two legs each, the players to throw first will be decided by ‘nearest the bullseye’, with the player who threw second to start the game now throwing first.

The competition will follow the below format;

Start as a mini league, best of 3 ‘501’ round robin with 16 groups of 4, followed by a best of 5 ‘501’ straight knock out for the last 32.

b.You Acknowledge that by participating in the competition that you will help on the days chalking, which will guarantee the smooth running of the tournament.

c.The method of scoring shall be by subtraction.  Each players remaining score to be shown

prominently on a scoreboard (showing scores attained with each throw is optional).  No darts

should be moved until the chalker has finished adding the score up.

d.Only the chalker may inform a player of the double they require for game-shot if asked.  No bystander should tell a player what score is required.

e.The official score card must be completed with the score clearly shown for each game.  The card

must be signed by both players.


4.Complaints Procedure.

 

All disputes should be brought to the Organizers immediately for resolution, with a complete halt in proceedings until resolved. Organizers decision is final.


5.Gambling.

 

Gambling on games/matches shall not be acceptable.


6.Prize Monies.

Prizes will be awarded to ranked players upon completion of the tournament as communicated before commencement.

Winner = 30% of Entry Money

Runner Up= 20% of Entry Money

Semi Final Runners Up = 10% of Entry Money Each
